Blue Sky Retains Georgia Tourism Business

We are thrilled to continue our relationship as one of the agencies of record for Georgia Tourism, a division of Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), after an extensive agency review. Blue Sky Agency was first awarded the business in 2014 and we are eager to build off the momentum created over the last five years.

After a record-breaking 2018 - the state’s tourism industry generated $66.2 billion in economic sales impact - GDEcD and Blue Sky Agency launched the new “Invitation to Explore” campaign in early 2019. The campaign featured a :30 commercial built entirely from user-generated content, showing how Georgia travelers are experiencing their favorite destinations. The B-52s’ iconic song “Roam” knits together diverse tourism experiences including arts, national parks, historical landmarks and more.

“Over the past 5 years we have formed a strategic relationship with our team at Blue Sky and look forward to building upon the momentum we created with them,” said Kevin Langston Deputy Commissioner at Georgia Tourism. “We are excited to share Georgia’s stories and create greater awareness of the many tourism offerings our state has to offer.”

The campaign extends across outdoor, broadcast, digital and print, showcasing Georgia destinations through the unique perspective of the travelers to our state.
