The Creative Services Manager is responsible for maintaining an orderly flow of work through the Creative Department. Through knowledge of production, project management and account management this position is able to properly review and prioritize request and allocate resources accordingly. This position works in partnership with an Account & Creative lead to ensure that the agency delivers effectively on client expectations.


  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from start to finish. Responsible for project intake and quality control throughout.
  • Develop and manage all project schedules within the agency, including monitoring progress daily, preparing weekly job status reports from Account Management, Creative and Production.
  • Meet with Account Management, Creative and Production team to understand client requests and develop timelines and resource allocations.
  • Demonstrate ownership of agency process and stewards the workflow. Act as a liaison between Account Service and Creative reviewing job orders, distributing to internal resources, requesting more information, communicating obstacles and delivering final work product.
  • Manage and own system related process and workflow. Ensure that all departments involved in creative executions and requests are submitting them properly through the agency system.
  • Train and develop deep knowledge of agency project management system and ensure that all groups are using the system according to agency operating procedures.
  • Lead and facilitate all project planning meetings including setting up creative briefings and internal reviews.
  • Understand and identify bottlenecks in process and gaps in capabilities and resources. Work with Supervisor and Human Resources to staff appropriately or find freelance support.
  • Appropriately align resources against project needs. Handle forecasting of hours and resources for all projects.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of agency reporting, partnering with Account leads to monitor budget tracking and utilization in real time.
  • Assist in developing knowledge of and relationships with new resources, talent and technology.
  • Play a resource management role in the development and execution of new business opportunities.



  • 7+ years project management/traffic experience in an advertising or creative agency
  • Comprehensive understanding of agency functions & project management procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Deep knowledge across Digital, Broadcast and Print channels
  • Prior experience using a project management software
