Manage, recommend, and implement employee policies and procedures for all functional areas of HR for the Agency focused on the full employee lifecycle
Conduct recruitment efforts for all full-time, part-time, and freelance/contract employees and partners. Working with managers to screen, interview, extend job offers, conduct onboarding, monitor development, and manage performance reviews
Establish and maintain department records and reports including; offer letters, employee agreements, payroll & salary, benefits enrollment, performance documentation and ad-hoc documents & reports
Act as Agency liaison with outside legal counsel and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
Administer the employee benefits program, including relationships with insurance companies and/or HR consultants.
Lead the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization.
Prepare employee separation notices, related documentation, and conducts exit interviews.
Supervise programs and initiatives aimed at the maximum utilization of services, equipment, and staff.
Serve as key point of contact for operational needs and vendor relationships
Manage and optimize Agency management software (Workamajig) ensuring effective use and training across all departments
Enact contingency plans as needed; directing activities during systems problems, troubleshooting local/network issues, communicating information during emergency situations
Exemplify agency principles in word and work; requires the same of external partners and agency representatives.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5-7 years of experience, preferably within an advertising agency setting
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; HR Certification is a plus
Must have strong sense of urgency and interpersonal skills to foster relationships
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
