The Challenge

With 2018 being the Peach Bowl’s 50th season – and first at the newly opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium – we wanted to find a way to celebrate the role the game has played in college football history.

The Solution

After stumbling onto the Peach Bowl’s comprehensive archive of game day coverage, we seized the opportunity to create a retrospective digital experience that brought that excitement to life. Our experience featured imagery, video and moments in history that celebrated the excitement of the game and built equity in the Peach Bowl as an authority in college football. And the mobile first experience capitalized on foot traffic and buzz as visitors streamed into town for the game.

The Results

The 50th anniversary Peach Bowl was the best recorded to date, selling out with 71,109 in attendance and 8.8 million tuning in. UCF upset Auburn to take home the trophy, and we got to take home an ADDY.
